McDonalds UK was exploring working with new suppliers to design, manufacture and construct new drive-thru restaurants as part of a growth strategy in the UK market.

Design and Build permanent construction utilising modular units with concrete floors.

Elliott worked with the client to demonstrate our capacity and capability to deliver new restaurants in collaboration with McDonalds’ planned expansion programme over coming years. This will involve utilising the modular building solution with concrete floors to achieve a high specification factory fit-out and minimise on-site construction timescales. The restaurants arrive at their site location (generally in out of town retail/commercial parks) fully fitted out including all fixed furniture and signage. The modules are re-fitted together and the external façade of the building is completed along with the associated external enabling works.

McDonalds have received a cost effective solution to meet their restaurant expansion programme and the Elliott Off-Site team have achieved the tight construction periods without compromising on the quality of the finished product. This has lead to further commissions and enhanced the development of the relationship between McDonalds UK and Elliott.
