Sheffield BSF Project
Main Drivers/Constraints
The BSF Programme began in 2005 and was divided into different phases over 15 years. Five local authorities were selected by the Government to lead the way for the BSF scheme. Sheffield County Council was chosen as one of these pathfinder authorities.
Sheffield BSF is one of the largest schemes in the Government funded project. The County Council selected a consortium lead by Vinci Construction, to ensure every secondary school in Sheffield is rebuilt or renewed within the next three years.
