Medical and Therapy Centres

Creating modern, efficient healthcare facilities requires the use of tried and trusted construction solutions, particularly on projects where clients look to bring facilities on stream sooner and demonstrate better value for money.

Medical and Therapy Centres provide an invaluable service, often for conditions not specifically provided for by the NHS, which is why it is important that facilities are delivered fast and cost effectively.

What our clients have to say

“We have been delighted with the service provided by Elliott and everyone who attended the official opening has been very impressed with the new building. We have already welcomed our first members through the door and the feedback we have received has been extremely positive.”

Peter Miller, Chairman of the West of England Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre.

Case study

The new West of England Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Centre, Bradley Stoke was commissioned because the existing facility was having difficulty in coping with the 450 service users. The wholly charity funding project had to demonstrate value for money as well as being completed on a 23 week schedule. The facility incorporates:

  • A hyperbaric chamber
  • Gymnasium
  • Treatment
  • Eexamination rooms
  • Cchanging
  • Toilet
  • Storage
  • Office provision

The building can easily be adapted to future requirements, including the additional of a second hyperbaric chamber and an ability to increase the number of members from 450 to 600.

Benefits

  • Cost effective
Ideally suited for projects facing limited budgets or where funding is through charitable donation - faster build times and less people on site results in better value for money.
  • Minimised Site Disruption
With significantly reduced deliveries on site, less waste and shorter build times there is minimum disruption to the communities in which the facility is located.
  • Speed of construction
Modular construction means your project will be completed quicker because many of the building elements are delivered to site pre-fabricated. This can reduce build times by as much as 50 per cent compared to conventional methods.
  • Quality and compliance of build
Medical and therapy centres choose modular construction because it results in guaranteed levels of quality as many of the elements are produced in a factory controlled environment - to ISO9001 quality standards.
  • Sustainability
Through careful design and choice of sustainable materials we are able to achieve a 20 per cent reduction in CO² compared to current building regulation requirements, and up to BREEAM outstanding. High performance insulation to improve U values, excellent air permeability and use of an efficient heating and ventilation all added to our green credentials.
