Gwent Healthcare NHS Trust appointed Elliott to design and build the Library and Medical Illustrations Building at Royal Gwent Hospital in Newport.
The two storey building, which was on a sloping, constrained site, offers:

The project was designed to comply with HTM and includes BMS control and CCTV systems.
The strong yet lightweight nature of the modular solution allowed large elements of the building to be positioned quickly and easily on the constrained sites, minimising disruption to the hospital and reducing foundation requirements.
