Elliott Off-Site Building Solutions has completed a prestigious new building at Hayes School in Bromley, Kent. Known as M-Block the building creates a new school library, student support facilities, speech and language classes, along with provision of a new state-of-the-art facility for Media, English and PE teaching.

The new building achieved a 20% reduction in CO2 compared to current building regulation requirements. Creating a building with a reduced carbon footprint was achieved by using Elliott Off-Site’s innovative hybrid construction techniques, along with a range of sustainable design features.

Utilising Elliott Off-Site Building Solutions’ modern methods of construction also helped minimize disruption to teaching as Hayes School had to remain fully operational during the 28 week build programme. The building was constructed to the very high standards set by Bromley Council, the client on this project.

“This is a superb new building that sits perfectly in our beautiful rural campus,” said Mr Scott, Deputy Head Teacher at Hayes School. “We have been extremely impressed with the innovative building system used by Elliott Off-Site Building Solutions – it has created an aesthetically pleasing, sustainable and extremely high quality building that helps position the school as a 21st Century learning facility.”
