New Two-Storey Sixth Form and Classroom Block at Ivybridge Community College for Elliott Off-Site

Elliott Off-Site Building Solutions has been commissioned by the Governing Body of Ivybridge Community College for the design and construction of a new two-storey sixth form and classroom block at the College.

The new building will include a large open plan learning resource centre, office and toilets on the ground floor with a staircase leading to 3x math’s/English classrooms on the first floor. The building will be constructed utilising Elliott Off-Site’s hybrid building system which combines steel frame and timber wall panels with concrete floors. The external walls will be red brickwork with a traditional tiled pitched roof.

The Elliott Off-Site team takes possession of the site next week (w/c 28th November) and have committed to a construction programme of 21 working weeks which will provide the client with the completed new building at the end of April 2012.

This contract award continues the hugely successful track record of Elliott Off-Site Building Solutions in the Education sector over the past 50 years.
