Septembers Employee of the Month...

Sean Gallagher (shown in picture) and Alan Clark were both selected for their efforts during a Bank Holiday in making sure our exhibition unit was up, running and available in time for the BFE exhibition held in Islington London. 

They were both called in at very short notice and worked into the night to ensure the exhibition building was installed and available in good time.

For those of you who do not know Sean here's a little insight..


How long have you worked for Elliott?

I have worked for Elliott for fifteen and a half years and spent my early years working on the shop floor in the Peterborough manufacturing facility.

What is your role within Elliott?

My current role within Elliott Modular is as Team Leader within the 'Foxtrot' installation crew.  My team is responsible for ensuring a smooth and safe installation, and the timely completion of the buildings, all in a safe manner and meeting any critical programme deadlines.

What would you describe as the best part of your job?

The best part of what I do is being able to travel the country, being outdoors on site and working with a great team.

Describe yourself in 5 words…

I would describe myself as fair, demanding, determined, willing and energetic.

What are your top 3 favourite movies?

My favourite 3 movies are Happy Feet, Darby O'gill and the Little People, and Black Hawk Down.

Which part of your job gives you the most satisfaction?

I get the most satisfaction when I am able to deliver a positive outcome for a client whilst working under the most extreme circumstances.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?

In 5 years time I hope to still be working for Elliott Modular and continuing to contribute towards the success of the business.

If you were an animal what would you be and why?

I would be a beaver…because I am resourceful, work hard and I take pride in my work.

What's the highlight of your Elliott career to date?

The highlight of my Elliott carreer is being able to work with some of the nicest people in our Contracts Team on the ground.

Who would you want to be stranded with on a desert island?

It would have to be Jack Daniels.

Which 3 people in the world would you invite to a dinner party and why?

The 3 people I would invite to my dinner party would be Gordon Ramsey, Lee Evans and Agnes Brown purely for the sheer entertainment value.

What are your top 3 favourite past times?

My top 3 favourite pastimes are being in the TA, running with my huskies and paying for my wife's shopping trips!

If you could have any other job in Elliott for a day what would you do?

It would be great to be the Managing Director for the day!
