Roles and Responsibilities

Working towards becoming a qualified Electrician where you could have overall responsibility for ensuring that all electrical installations are safe and fit for purpose in compliance with BS7671 17th edition of the wiring regulations.

Working with a high degree of responsibility, your duties would typically include:
• installation/alteration/modification in new and existing units,
• inspection, testing and certification with BS7671 17th edition wiring regulations,
• fixing faults highlighted by inspections.

Hierarchical Relation

Reporting to an approved Electrician, Site Manager and the Electrical Standards Manager.

Experience and Required Skills

Knowledge and skills are important and the training is demanding.
