Construction output* in the UK is more than £110 billion per annum and contributes 7% of GDP, and is home to hundreds of active constructions sites at any one time. With each new project comes building on green space, carbon emissions, water, noise, and air pollution, all of which are harmful to the environment. Construction has a direct impact on wildlife, and it is therefore vital all projects are undertaken with care to help with wildlife and nature conservation.

Leading supplier of Modular Building Solutions, Elliott, conducted a survey of 2,000 to find out the true impact of construction on climate change, and here is what they found.
