Elliott’s Managing Director, Colin Sargeant, was approached by The Children’s Trust, the UK’s leading charity for children with brain injury, to provide a solution to keep their medical equipment in a sanitary environment.
The Children’s Trust offers both residential and community based rehabilitation services for young children and young people with a brain injury.
Following severe weather conditions in the area, the current storeroom was dilapidated and needed to be replaced as soon as possible, however there was a limited budget available.
Elliott attended the site with two supply chain partners and agreed to re-roof the existing building and fit a full heating system, at no charge to The Children’s Trust.
Nicola Rocca, IPC Lead Nurse at The Children’s Trust commented “It is so great that our equipment will be stored in appropriate conditions and as a result will last longer. This really benefits the children and young people here at The Children’s Trust as they will have access to nice clean dry equipment that hasn’t had to be discarded and it will save money that would have been spent on replacing the equipment, this money can benefit the children here in other ways. We are very grateful to Elliott for their generous support”.
Elliott pride themselves on supporting local communities and charities.
