In 2017 almost three quarters of people in the work place had at some point felt so stressed that they felt overwhelmed or unable to cope. While stress isn’t a mental health problem in itself it often leads to anxiety and much worse.
While it’s a very difficult subject one in four will experience a mental health issue in any given year. This 2 day course has given me the skills to spot early signs of a mental health issue, feel confident in how to offer & provide initial help, preserve life where a person may be at risk of harm to themselves & promote recovery.
